ABOUT

I truly think curiosity has gotten me here.  To painting places we put on our bucket lists.  To traveling across the world to learn about a course and meet the people who keep it incredible.  To exploring the world of golf with fresh eyes.

In some sort of the same way, curiosity has gotten you here as well.  And so thank you.

My path to being a full time artist has been non traditional and I’m thankful for every step.  I’ve painted my entire life, and becoming an artist was my goal as early as the question was asked.  I took a detour and became a physician assistant, met my husband who introduced me to both the world of golf and the influence Scotland has had on it, and simply put, I became obsessed.  The rest, is history and I quit my clinical job to paint for collectors who were just as obsessed as I was.

I’ve had the privilege to paint for courses such as St Andrews Links, Royal Dornoch, Pebble Beach and others.  I’ve captured the winning putt on 18 and member guest tournaments in live event painting at Vanderbilt Legends Club, High Pointe Golf Club and others.

I primarily paint in oil paints on large canvases, drawing influence from Renaissance Masters such as Rembrandt and Sargant.  I’ve been lucky to learn from Nashville artist Dawn Whitelaw.  While my style naturally draws to the realism side, I’m jumping into impressionism and studying new techniques constantly.

When I’m not in the studio or creating behind the scenes content, you can find me in middle Tennessee somewhere on an adventure with my husband and daughter.
