There's something about painting a moment that someone will remember for the rest of their lives. Surrounded by their families and best friends. It's the beginning of the rest of their lives, and I'm always honored to be able to share in that moment with live wedding painting.

These paintings are created over the day. I arrive with the florists and wedding planners and lay the foundation for the painting. Then when the moment happens (first kiss, first dance, you name it), I paint the happy couple in. The painting is then finished over the evening during the reception, and so guests can follow along start to finish. The painting is then brought into the studio for final touches before it's framed and sent to its new home.

These paintings are looser in style compared to my studio pieces, and I love that. I think they capture the magic of the day.
