"8th Hole at Pebble Beach" 8 x 10 Limited Edition Print
Officially Licensed Pebble Beach Golf Links Art
"The greatest second shot in golf."
-Jack Nicklaus, on the 8th at Pebble Beach
About This Piece
A medium-length par-4 that turns merciless at the approach. After a blind tee shot to the top of the cliffs, the second shot is one of the most photographed in golf, a forced carry over a deep chasm of the Pacific Ocean to a green perched on the headland.
Mishit it short, and the ball is gone forever.
This painting captures the 8th at the moment that defines the hole, looking across the chasm at the green, with the ocean churning below and the Monterey coastline stretching into the distance.
Created by officially licensed artist Aimee Smith from her original 8" × 10" oil-on-board painting, each print is hand-signed and numbered in her studio near Nashville, Tennessee.

Pair with "No. 6 at Pebble Beach", the par-5 that opens the ocean stretch, and "No. 7 at Pebble Beach", the legendary par-3 that follows. For the finishing stretch, see "No. 17 & 18 at Pebble Beach". For the same hole region in a different medium, the "No. 7 Pen and Ink" sketch print pairs naturally as a smaller companion piece.
