Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean Club is more than a golf course. It is an oasis on Great Guana Cay in the Abaco Islands of the northeastern Bahamas. The Tom Fazio designed course winds through tropical hardwoods and native coppice before opening up to some of the most breathtaking ocean views in all of golf.
This Baker's Bay golf painting captures the stunning 8th hole with the shimmering Bahamian beach visible in the background. The turquoise water, the white sand, and the emerald fairway come together in a composition that shows why this Discovery Land Company property is considered one of the most beautiful golf destinations in the world.
The painting was commissioned by a collector who wanted to preserve the memory of his time at Baker's Bay. Aimee worked from reference photography captured on location to recreate the light and colour that make this course unlike anything else.
A Tom Fazio Design in the Bahamas
Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean Club is one of Discovery Land Company's signature private club communities. The 18-hole Tom Fazio course was built to work with the natural landscape of Great Guana Cay, preserving the native vegetation and framing the Caribbean views that define every round played here.
The course features dramatic elevation changes for a Bahamian island, with holes that play along rocky coastline, through tropical forest, and across open headlands exposed to the trade winds. The 8th hole captured in this painting is one of the most photographed in the Caribbean, where the fairway runs toward the beach and the Atlantic stretches to the horizon.
