Tennessee mornings in the spring and summer are nothing short of magical. This 36 by 48 inch oil painting captures the first few minutes of morning sun at Troubadour Golf and Field Club, with soft hilltop fog settling over the first and last holes of the championship course. The golden light breaks through the trees and rolls across the fairways as the landscape slowly comes to life.
This painting was created to preserve the quiet beauty of that fleeting moment before the day begins, when the course belongs entirely to the light and the landscape. It is a celebration of the Tennessee countryside and the kind of scene that members at Troubadour experience on early morning rounds through the rolling hills of Williamson County.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club
Troubadour Golf and Field Club is a private residential community by Discovery Land Company, set on 860 acres of rolling countryside in College Grove, Tennessee, roughly 30 minutes south of Nashville. The championship 18-hole golf course was designed by Tom Fazio and blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, with elevated tees offering sweeping views of the central Tennessee foothills.
The course plays to a par 71 at over 7,100 yards and has been played by premier golfers including Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and Rickie Fowler. Named after George Strait's song "Troubadour," celebrating the life of a humble traveling performer, the club is built on the pillars of golf, outdoor pursuits, world-class culinary experiences from its private organic farm, and live music at multiple venues scattered throughout the community.
