Aimee Smith Studios: Golf Artist Featured in Golf Digest

I am honored to share that my golf course artwork was recently featured in Golf Digest this past October. As a professional golf artist who creates oil paintings for golfers to remember their favorite trips, it was a dream come true to have my work recognized in one of the most respected golf publications in the world.

I’ve had this magazine on my coffee table for years, and so you can imagine how big I smiled for weeks after the initial interview. A special thank you to Daniel Brown, an incredibly talented photographer who captured the feature photo. Fun fact, I didn’t know I was allergic to eyelash glue until I was in his studio. And somehow he STILL made me look professional and graceful.

Why This Feature Matters

Golf courses are more than sporting venues. They are history. Challenges. And personal memories. My mission as a golf course painter has always been to preserve those moments on canvas so collectors and clubs can enjoy the paintings for generations.

Being recognized by Golf Digest affirms that mission and inspires me to continue creating art that speaks to golfers around the world.

What’s Next for Aimee Smith Studios

Since the Golf Digest feature, I’ve been busy working on new paintings, including the next Royal Dornoch print launch of “No. 17 at Royal Dornoch Golf Club,” a few private commissions, live wedding painting, and welcoming our daughter to the world! She’s got an amazing big sister who is ready for her to be able to play.

If you’d like to view the collection of golf art prints available now, you can explore them here.
