18th Hole at Vanderbilt Legends Club
The Inaugural Simmons Bank Open
The 2024 Simmons Bank Open marked the first year this Korn Ferry Tour event was held at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee. Aimee was selected to create the official event artwork, a 24 by 36 inch oil on canvas capturing a bird's eye perspective of the 18th hole on the North Course with Golf House Tennessee in the background.
The painting was sold via silent auction at the Simmons Bank Open in September 2024. 100% of the proceeds from the original went to benefit the Refuge Center for Counseling in Franklin, Tennessee, a nonprofit counseling center that helps improve the mental health of Middle Tennessee.
Event poster prints are available in two sizes, with 50% of print proceeds also benefiting the Refuge Center for Counseling.
It was an honor to create the official event artwork for the inaugural Simmons Bank Open at Vanderbilt Legends Club, knowing that every dollar from the original painting went directly to supporting mental health services in Middle Tennessee.Aimee Smith, on the Commission
Golf House Tennessee at Vanderbilt Legends Club
Vanderbilt Legends Club is a 36-hole facility in Franklin, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. The North Course, designed by Tom Kite and Bob Cupp, hosted the inaugural Simmons Bank Open and features rolling Tennessee hills, mature hardwoods, and strategic bunkering throughout.
The club is also home to Golf House Tennessee, the headquarters of the Tennessee Golf Association and the Tennessee Golf Foundation. The building is visible in the background of this painting, anchoring the 18th hole composition and connecting the artwork to the broader story of golf in Tennessee.
This original painting is now in a private collection. Event poster prints are available here.
